The Red Pear Theatre Story

Hilary King came to me with an incredible story. She and her husband built an independent theater in the South of France. It started off in their living room, slowly grew into a proper theater. All of her London theater connections were invited to put on plays, from Shakespeare to Sondheim. The theater lasted a little over a decade. This book documents its journey.

Each spread of this 300-page book is unique. I based the design on showcasing the posters, images, and newspaper clippings that Hilary has meticulously collected over the years.
