Lens

Art video and installation commissioned by Southern Exposure, San Francisco, CA. This video functions as a product demo and advertisement for the Institute for New Feeling's speculative wellness product line. Lens is a contact lens that blacks out the pupil, blinding the eye while it is worn. This video is installed on a monitor recessed into a custom pedestal with a tank of water on top, allowing visitors to move the water and apply a low-tech physical "filter," distorting the image on the monitor below.

I co-shot and co-directed this video/installation, and also created the sound design, editing and motion graphics.
