With stadium seats empty during the pandemic, we teamed up with the NFL and Twitter Sports to help players celebrate the season’s biggest moments virtually with their fans. The Bud Light #ShowtimeCam is an on-field LED screen with a two-way camera feed that allows players and fans to interact and share the joy of football—from end zone dancing to gestures of solidarity to fan tweets. The #ShowtimeCam is positioned in NFL stadium end zones and travels weekly. Fans join the experience via Microsoft Teams, giving them front-row access to the field and the players—all from the safety of their living rooms.
This project was particularly challenging to bring to life during COVID across 25 stadiums.
