Christopher Reeve Foundation - Adaptoys

Play time is very important. It bonds parents and kids. Unfortunately we realized that 1 in 50 parents in the U.S. are unable to get on the carpet and play with their little ones, like most of us can. So we create Adaptoys, Fisher-Price hacked toys that enabled quadriplegic parents to play with their children for the very first time. It required a ton of tech, a ton of planning - but mostly, a ton of heart.
