Sweetgreen

In early 2014 I was hired by my dear friends at Gin Lane (now: Pattern) to lead the discovery and product strategy phase of an engagement with Sweetgreen for their first online mobile ordering experience.

The engagement was four weeks long and had two goals: Conclude the discovery phase with an MVP product feature set and relevant deliverables to take the project into production, and teach the strategy and design departments at Gin Lane how to facilitate this discovery workflow on their own.

The approach included stakeholder interviews, collaborative work sessions both journey mapping and creative exploration and direction setting, on-site qual observation, a technical audit and strategy, SWOT analysis, all leading to a final experience map, MVP feature set, and experience information architecture.
