Zeolite

Illustrations I made for BBDO as a freelance animator and designer for one of their clients in the oil industry in the beginning of 2018. The goal was to visualize key moments in the creation of various fuel types when the raw petroleum interacts with synthetic zeolite which is the model seen here.

Since the process occurs on a microscopic level I felt it led to a good opportunity to be able to really play with a number of different materials and looks.

Once I found a suitable model online, I utilized Cinema 4d, Octane, and Photoshop to bring it all together.
