I partnered with Just Cavalli for the release of their new Xena sneaker. Jumping off from the colorful graffiti aesthetic that adorns the shoe, I worked within a dry, primary palette. In general, I like to produce works that will make you to look twice. So for this, I played with the idea of replication—adding legs, adding shoes, using a the old mirror trick to simulate floating—depicting something every-so-slightly off. This series is designed to live on social media where it will infinitely loop long into the future.
